Abstract

Libraries play an important role in preserving and disseminating accurate knowledge about the Great Patriotic War. In order to study the activities of regional public libraries of Belarus in this area by creating remote access network resources, the analysis of the websites of these libraries and publications on this topic was conducted. Monitoring allowed us to identify Internet resources of regional, city, district, urban-settlement, rural libraries on the subject under consideration and to study their range. The current state and trends in the development of remote access network resources were determined. It was found that the content of Internet resources is based on the local history aspect of considering military events. The analysis of Internet products of regional libraries showed the features of their preparation: presentation of combined, multimedia information, use of innovative preparation practices, interactivity of Internet resources, expansion of their type-type and genre composition, active inclusion of archival, personal documents (memories, diaries, front-line letters) of participants and witnesses of military events in the content, interaction with archives and museums. The expediency of a wider use of a corporate approach in the preparation of remote access network resources is noted

Abstract

Modern Belarusian literature about the Great Patriotic War contains both a reception of the traditions of Soviet military literature and their deconstruction. In modern prose, it is not personal military experience (not the tragedy of one’s own generation) that is subject to artistic comprehension, but the historical memory of the country and the Belarusian people, which presupposes new approaches to the creation of cognitive artistic models and new ways of philological explication of cultural and social codes. The functional spectrum of social and cultural implications of historical memory demonstrates the axiological range of modern Belarusian literature about the Great Patriotic War.

Abstract

In the article we, using the example of the analysis of the critical thought of M. Tank and the work of M. Mashara, notes that the Western Belarusian literary process was characterized by a polyphony of ideological and aesthetic principles. Three periods of ideological evolution are distinguished in the pre-September works of M. Mashara, among which only the second (1936–1937) was largely consistent with the ideological and artistic beliefs of M. Tank. We made a conclusion that M. Mashara's poetry is characterized by the predominance of personal reflections even in poems with social issues, which could not find understanding with M. Tank.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the cultural code of a nation is considered as a complex symbolic system that includes a set of symbols, archetypes, ideas, norms, and value systems, with the help of which national self-consciousness is formed and the continuity of historical experience is ensured. The synthetic nature of the cultural code, its influence on the individual, value system, and social practices, as well as the dynamic processes of its adaptation to changing historical and technological realities, are analyzed.
Special attention is paid to the concept of glocalization, which reveals the dialectical interaction of global and local elements of culture. The activities of the National Library of Belarus and its role in the preservation and popularization of the national cultural heritage are considered
